Meet the Owner

Brian Brownie has a passion for gardening, cooking, and outdoor living, which has become the driving force behind his involvement with Clean Air Lawn Care. He has a personal goal of helping his friends and neighbors understand the power and importance of sustainable pesticide-free lawn care. With two children who love to be outside with their dog and chickens, Brian understands that a mindful approach to lawn maintenance and yard care is integral to keeping children and furry family members safe and healthy.

A graduate of San Jose State University, Brian has spent the last 18 years in the Silicon Valley tech space helping pioneer digital advertising. He has worked for companies including AOL, eBay and Unity, and has been afforded the chance to learn from some of the most intelligent and driven people in business today. Brian has managed multiple teams and helped many people further their careers. He’s also an accomplished public speaker, having presented all over the U.S.

Prior to his years in the tech space, Brian managed apartment complexes which made clear in his mind the need to provide clients with clean, comfortable outdoor places to relax and play. Now, working with homeowners to achieve a healthy organic yard is the ideal way for Brian to continue his career.

Brian’s lifelong love for the smell of fresh-cut grass began in high school, when he worked for his friend’s landscaping maintenance business. Since then, he has always taken care of his own landscaping, and continues to make his yard a great destination for family and friends. Northern California has a year-round temperate climate, that allows for continuous outdoor living. The combination of that climate with the advances Clean Air has achieved in lawn care over the past 10 years is ideally situated for the growing and bustling South Bay Area.

When he’s away from work, you’ll find Brian grilling up delicious veggies straight from the garden or trying to perfect the ideal pizza. When spending time with his lovely wife and two amazing children, the family loves to travel and is highly involved with the kids’ competitive team sports. Most recently they spent Thanksgiving 2017 exploring New Zealand.
